Not yet a yearly habit, but....
Last year was Islamorada, the year before was the gulf side of Bahia Honda.
I think Islamorada will be the future choice. The wife and kids like the area and I like Channel #5 for tarpon.
I have tried to tackle bones and permit a couple times, but I don't visit often enough to get the practice. So, heavy gear and tarpon is the choice now.
