MOTHER F#CKING SON OF F#CKING B#TCHEN' F#CKING Pinch Bolt! HELP! HELP!
God damn axle will not come out with just removing the six flange bolts and shield. God Damn impossibility!. moses could part the red sea before that thing will pull out of the hub.
So I try to remove the pinch pin as a last resort.
Bolt head snaps off.
Double up on the washers and replace the nut and crank. That snaps off.
Drill the son of a bitch 99% of the way and the bit snaps.
I'm ready to torch the whole f#cking car and call the insurance company.
Can anybody help me?

Breathe deep. Get in touch with your inner self. Close youe eyes and visualize yourself
with the axle fixed, all your fingers intact, and hot-lapping your favorite track....

You've never been flustered by your car? Get over it. Read another thread.
One of those days when everything we touch turns to sh*t. Step on a rake and it slaps you in the nose, try to hit a small nail and smack your finger so hard you pass out. Feels like a bad Chevy Chase routine. Been there. We understand.

I feel your pain - my '98 Dodge Ram 1500 w/ V6 has the two broken exhaust studs on the driver's...
side, flush with the head (Chrysler uses two bolts and two studs on each exhaust manifold - another brillant idea!). Access is nearly impossible to drill them out due to the steering shaft and the fender housing. I managed to drill one and then broke an easy-out off in it. May have to remove the head to replace two stinking $7.00 studs!
I can probably provide you with the P/N using my ETKA if you can provide a better description of the pinch bolt, e.g., upper, lower, what it attaches to, etc.

Yeah, those things are a PITA. That's why I try not to touch them, ever.
And when I do, it's when I'm replacing upper arms.. Use lots of heat, penetrant, and air hammers.
