My 1/4 mile time.
I went to the track yesterday so I decided to post my best time. First off. I have a 2000 A6 2.7. Apr chip,diverter valves,custom exaust,stasis trans with a s4 clutch. I ran a 13.74 @ 102mph. reaction time was .011. 60' was 1.922. Not to bad. I want low 13's though.
I lost this race to a 13.4 Neon. grrrr

I won this race by almost a second it was a same year a4 1.8 with a chip. (I'm the closer car)

and just b/c I could not believe it myself. This is a SNOWMOBILE beating a Harley drag bike. This was a 10 second snowmobile.

A few questions....
How do you like the STaSIS tranny? Did you get the OE rebuild or the close-ratio?
S4 clutch? I didn't realize the A6 2.7T clutch was any different...

I launched around 4000-4500. I was told I should rev it up to 5000-5500rpm
One guy even told me 6000 but I have a new trans and clutch but I don't want my rearend blowing up or something. it launched nice it didn't bog to bad. I think I want to shoot for abour 5000-5500rpm next sunday. If anyone wants to give me other tips I'll be more than happy to try them this sunday at the track.

The trans is nice. I got the $3600 rebuild not the $5000 or whatever it was
It has not given me any problems. i have noticed lately its a little hard to get into reverse but nothing to alarming. Oh sorry I have the RS4 clutch from ecstuning.
