Dwayne, the tech, and Randel, the service advisor, all helped make this a great trip. (My warranty expires the end of May).
Here's what they did:

1) Gave me a Jetta loaner for 15 days.
2) Oil change (my Mobil 1)and filter and all fluids.
3) Repaired oil leaks on both cam shaft tensioners
4) Replaced by pass valves with 710-N
5) Replaced seat memory control unit
6) Replaced both rear rock guards (discolored)
7) Replaced distorted windshield
8) Checked battery as OK
9) Performed bumper recall
10) Replaced Ashtray wood trim. (I didn't know it was loose myself)
11) Performed safety inspection.

My total cost: $39.50 for inspection.

A big hurrah for AOA and everyone else!!!!!!!!!

Nice to hear a good Audi Svc. report - How'd you get them to do the 710Ns?

That's good to know. Randel is my service advisor and just bought a 2002 A6 3.0Q from Boardwalk. So far I am pleased with everything. What year is your A6?

My A6 is '00, bought in May, '00. I simply asked them to look at the bypass valves.

Default My turbos were replaced, too, as you may know from my posts a few weeks back, but...

...they "checked" the bypass valves, and said they were operating normally. I still don't think they are, so I'm going to have them replaced with the Bosch 110s (sport valve) when I have time. They're cheap, and from what I've heard, they make the car more responsive at part throttle and in normal driving, if not truly faster.

Do you notice any driveability difference with the new turbos and valves? I was actually VERY surprised when they told me the turbos were bad, because my "kiester-dyno" didn't really notice any performance difference...

.Too early to tell for sure, but runs great, no lag, very linear.
