Default My biggest waste of money -- 2005 Audi A6

I bought a brand new A6 back in late August and I've put a grand total of 1,300 agonizing miles on this car in three months. I just walk around it in my garage these days and pick my old car to drive instead. After having the car into the custom shop three time for changes to the driver's seat to prevent my limbs from going numb, and trips to the chiroprator, I'm giving up. Next week I'm looking to sell the car back to the dealer. As good is this car is "said" to be, I find it useless to me a huge waste of my hard-earned money.

After the "it's not our problem" attitude from Audi, I will never consider another Audi!

Default Did you test drive the car for an extended period before purchase?...

Maybe try the C6 forum for some help on seat adjustment. I don't see how any dealer is going to be able to re-engineer your seat for you considering the amount of detail and mechanics that go into a safty device like a seat. It maybe a little unfair to be critical of your dealer.

Default Sounds like you need a new chiropractor, maybe even a real doctor and surgery or something.

If I sold you a car and you complained the seats made your limbs go numb and wanted me to do something, I'd tell ya "tough sh*t".

Default "changes to the driver's seat to prevent my limbs from going numb".....WTF

The problem seems to lie with you and not the car...

Default Maybe you should have tried adjusting the seat or taken an extended test drive

before you bought it. I have back issues too, so I always do extended tests before commiting to a car. It's not Audi's fault you didn't take that opportunity first.

Default I got my 2003 A6 cause EVERY other car I drove numbed me!!

Pun intended! But seriously- I get like a sciatica pain in my left leg in ALL cars- however it is LEAST painful and takes the longest to flare up in my Audi(Long seat?) and.........my Jeep Wrangler (not my cherokee) maybe cause in the Wrangler I sit high??

Anyway- I'm suprised you have this problem. And I DID have to take longer than usual test rides to activate the symptoms.

Default I can drive my A6 all day and never feel any sciatic or other issues. That is one of the main

reasons I bought it. Had the same enjoyment with my 1988 80 series as well.
