Iv always like porsche and I know RUF is a major tuner for porsche even though there are many [i.e. autothority] what was the grand total to have the car built, plan on buying one when I am 35 and knowing a little about the total price tag might help in investments : ) maybe the price of the car and then the price to have RUF come over and do the work would help thanks.

I'd bet the dealer plans to keep half of the $50k as markup.
As for resale, there is a comparative lack of exclusivity vs. the others you mention, but the net loss can't be worse than any other car, the 'market mark-up' not withstanding.
But in a year or so, I'd be wanting one. From everything I've read, it is damn near the ideal visceral experience, delivering the promise of sports-car perfection that we all grew up with in every aspect, which is to say you still have to learn to drive it to get it right.
While the RUF is insanely fast, it is also as neutered as it could be with all that power - awd and all the stability systems and it's overall superhero capacity for delivering any change in speed or heading with little or no drama (save the broken blood vessels in whichever quadrant of your brain was impacted by said heroic movement).
There are very few cars I'd really like to drive, indeed be excited to drive, but that RUF, and of course the CGT, are on the top of the list.
For a $25-50k 'sucker' markup, I'd wait a year or so too. Especially with the rest of your fleet to entertain you in the interim...

Well, there are two ways you can approach this. If you want a Ruf VIN# car, where Ruf gets the body shell from Porsche and builds the car with their own VIN#, you are looking at $220,000 just for the 520hp model. Or you can purchase your 996TT and have them convert it to Ruf specs which is what I did. This involves shipping the required ECU, EXHAUST, BIGGER TURBOS, REVISED INTAKE, AIR FILTER, SUSPENSION, WHEELS, TIRES, INSTRUMENT PANEL, PEDALS, SHORT SHIFTER ....and then having a Ruf tech fly over from Germany to do the install. This cost me about 50k on top of the price of my '03 TT...
Would I do it again ? My next Ruf will be spec built on the next generation TT. One of the classiest outfits I have ever dealt with and Alois Ruf is one of the nicest people you will ever talk to.

I'll say this Sarge...the V10 in the CGT is the best sounding engine I have ever heard in a street car...absolutely F1 sound, unreal..
I'll see if I can find a sound link...
