Default N75 valves....good or bad?

Ok so I did a search and looked around the net and it seems to me like people like the S4 one on non-chipped cars because it creates a little more boost than stock with the nice factory curve. Now I have a couple of questions.

1) It seems like there are a couple of companies selling them but I read a post that says its all the same thing (Audi Part Number 034 906 283 H)?
2) How many do I need, can't figure out if I need one or two?
3) Are there any instructions of how to install this thing? I am mechanically inclined, but need some sort of guidline about how to do it.

Thanks

There is only one N75 valve and I wouldn't tinker with it IMO.

I had it in my chipped GTI and I loved it. I gave it to my friend, to try on his stock 1.8t. He liked it as well. I want to try it on my stock 2.7t. The install is very easy, well at least on the 1.8t. I haven't looked to see where it is on the 2.7t. The hardest part is removing the one time clamps. I developed a technique to remove them quickly. You disconnect two little hoses and an electrical part.

I bought my "H" valve from vwparts.com<ul><li><a href="http://www.impexfap.com/partlist.cfm?getpart=117475&amp;PARTNUMBERSEARCH=0 34%20906%20283%20H#part117475">http://www.impexfap.com/partlist.cfm?getpart=117475&amp;PARTNUMBERSEARCH=0 34%20906%20283%20H#part117475</a</li></ul>

Default Ahhhh....more info even more confusing.......

Called a random Audi dealership just to see if the late model S4's have the same part number as the A6 and they do. Also the part number I mentioned before was for like 100 and '95 A6...huh?!?!

Still confused as hell...someone people help me out who tried this. Thanks

Default Most likely. I want to get it from my friend first.

I gave him a brand new ITG panel filter and fairly new N75 valve for $50! And I installed them for him. If it works out fine then I will buy one or keep my old one.
