I have found that 01 A6s come pre-wired for CD changer and telephone whether or not they were actually fitted with the actual optional equipment. My question is...has anyone ever found pre-wired plugs for a US spec nav cd player and for the between- the- seats nav control switch?

I have a CD changer that's wired in and working correctly.... so it's not that. I do not have Nav or Phone so could be that. FWIW: I don't have any tell-tale Nav parts on the outside of the car (the disk on the trunk or shark tale) so I doubt I'm in a "this car used to have Nav" kind of situation.
It's a coax cable... maybe if you search that up it'll tell you what the coax is for. Not sure myself offhand.
