Need 2001 A6 keyless remote programming instruction
I have 1 remote (with key) that is working and have a key with a not working remote. Can anyone give me the instruction on how to program the remote? The dealer want to charge $70 for programming the remote.

Just did this yesterday...used the instructions in manual, but wasn't working. What did work (which they don't say in the manual), I put the key in the door lock first, then hit the open button, then turned the key to lock the car. That worked fine. So try the procedure starting with the key in the lock.
