Default Need Help With Ipod Hookup

I'm getting really sick of using fm transmitters to play my ipod through my radio in the car and I want to wire it directly through the deck. I have a 1998 A6 quatro and when I asked the guys at best buy if it could be direct wired they told me that I would need an adaptor to go from the CD changer cord to the RCA cord that connects the ipod. Does anyone know where I can find one or if there is another way to get this done?

Thanks

Default Radio

my bad. that's a silly thing to forget. It's the Bose Audi Concert system. I'm not sure if that's the exact name of it or if you need more. let me know.

thanks

i tried that already and i can't figure out what's going on. i know that this is a big topic but i looked through the search feature and couldn't find anything that was specific to my situation and my question wasn't answered. maybe it was but i don't understand a lot of the things being talked about and I was hoping someone could clear it up a little for me. as you can probably tell i'm not very savy when it comes to cars

Default LOL! Appreciate your honesty so lemme help you a bit here...if you have a CD changer

hookup in your trunk (I'm pretty sure you do) then you can connect a Dension Icelink there and it should work well for you. Note: I'm not sure which radio you have (I'm assuming a double DIN setup) so double check to be sure.
