needed to replace batteris in remote, dealer wanted 7$ a battery, Radio Shack..2$
I replaced the battery, anyone know an easy way to get the key apart, it seems like I have to use a lot of force,,,,
Anyway.. I replaced battery and remote stopped working. Used key to unlock car, put key in ignition, pressed lock on the remote, nothing happened, pressed the unlock button, nothing happened. Got out of the car, used the key to lock the door, then pressed unlock with the key still in the door and the lights flashed, the pressed lock and the doors locked. Pressed unlock and it worked.
For batteries and reprogramming dealer wated $50 warrenty deductable and 7$ a battery.
You gotta watch those dealers every second. Haven't checked to see if the seats remember the remote yet.... Did I change the battery correctly???
