The needle on my gas gauge went back and forth when I started my car this weekend...????

I started the car and while I was letting it warm up the gas gauge fluctuated up and down between 1/4 and 1/2 a tank. I sat while it did that for a 30 seconds then I just turned the car off and cranked it back up and it worked just fine. Has anyone heard of this before?

I wasn't
However since using V-Power it has been getting progressively better. Helps get rid of that corrossion most likely causing the needle to read incorrectly.
Mine basically will read just below 3/4 full when i fill it up. Stays there until I get below that mark and works normal.
In the last few months I have been more likely to have it read full.

make sure you get it done if you qualify. Having a lying gas gauge is not only annoying, it's dangerous! And just in case, get in the habit of resetting your trip odo with every fillup. If you've gone more than XXX miles since gassing up, in spite of what the gauge says, be very afraid.
