Is the new A6 worthy of this comparison?
In his article, see link, Jason Teller almost compares the new A6 to a Patek Philippe watch. What remains to be seen is if the new A6 will be less problematic for the customers than the new A8 was (still is?)upon its launch. Like a fine watch, no matter how well it looks, if it is not accurate, can't tell time or does not perform its real function, it does not matter how well it was crafted. Let us all hope that Audi learned from the mistakes with the A8.

https://www.audiworld.com/news/04/geneva/patekphilippe/content.shtml</a

Japanese Cars Are Highly overrated!
I've owned 3 Jap cars...no more reliable than my Audi and not nearly as much fun to drive!!! My theory is that people who buy Audi/German/European cars are more discriminating and picky. We bring up more issues and that translates to more buzz. Even supposed head of class Toyotas, which I've had two, have had problems and they don't even come close as far as fit and finish and feeling solid.

That's why you never buy a first model year.
I wouldn't even buy a second model year. Third? maybe.
The S4s also have troubles too. I don't think audis are any worse than the others.
