Preparing for a timing belt job on my 2001 A6 4.2, and I've never messed with an all aluminum engine. I've heard that bolts in aluminum blocks should have anti-seize on them. There's no mention of anything on the bolt threads in Bentley, ElsaWin, or Alldata. Should the bolts be torqued dry, with anti-seize, or with blue Locktite?
Thanks for your replies.

Don't the bolts have that teal colored coating on them? I was always under the impression that that coating served as antiseize. Anybody want to second?
