Default New CPO, towed less than a week later...

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/69989/tow_week_1.jpg"></center><p>Traded in my 2001 CPO A6 with 91k miles last Tuesday for a very clean dark blue 2004 3.0 with 37k miles, and warranty till Feb 2010. They gave me more than $8k for my car, we agreed on $14k including tax and tags and my car. That dealer is 90 miles away, not one of the 6 local dealers.
Tonight my CEL started blinking, and the car felt like it was running on 4 or 5 cylinders. I shut it down, called for a tow truck, and plugged in my code reader, got P0303. While I waited for the truck, I sat in a supermarket, miles from home, and did a google search on the code, found lots of hits for cylinder misfire, spark plugs or wires, all sorts of fun things.
I will call the dealer in the morning, see what they say.
I hope I do not have to worry about the car for the next 4 years. It sure did run well for the last 5 days.

Sounds like a coilpack failure.

Default somewhat normal....

its a coil pack and any audi dealer will fix it. You need not go back to your selling dealer at 90 miles away for anything.

Oddly enough, mine was towed one week after purchase - ignition control module failure

Default to my surprise the cpo are hit and miss some dealers really make sure the car is up to audi so calle

d cpo status while other dealers just say they are and then you have what you going through right now...car troubles. hopefully with only 37k miles this was just an anomaly.

Default Bought mine w/ same mileage on it, however didn't have

any troubles liike yours until I tore a spark plug wire boot when changing the spark plugs. Did this on the 40,000 mile maint.

If you didn't do much around the boots of these wires, then that's probally not the problem. sorry you had this at such early mileage!
