what the RS6 sold for, or darn close to it? Inflation sucks, but if it's competing with the M3, they missed the boat, as the M3 is about $58K

Default 70g? holy moly...

I would rather buy a rs6 for that price. I could get a used rs6 for less than that with almost no miles on it.
when the v8 m3 comes out, I bet it will be that much money, and it will be faster than the rs4

Well, how else can they afford all that "Free" maintenance? They build it into the price!

Default I don't think it was intended to compete with the M3...

In fact, I think it will be positioned purposely not to compete with the M3. Like you said, it will be more expensive. Also, it's still going to be a 4 door sedan/avant with awd, not a rwd coupe/convertible. It will also be produced in limited quanities, which will supposedly add to it's value, etc...

Aside from that, has one even been road tested yet? How can you evaluate a car that isn't for sale or available yet? You're assuming quite a bit based only on published numbers alone. Just my $.02...

Default $70k is fully loaded... $15k less than RS6, same ~$20k more than S4 as RS6 was to S6.

If you want the BEST, you have to pay the price.
