Default new wheel/tires for 2006 A6 4.2 -- no susp mods planned -- comfort ride required

Hello,
I own a 2006 A6 4.2 non s-line (i did not want the 'sport' ride ie. harsh on my back because of the crappy roads in VT) I recently purchased the front lip, rear spoiler, and rear diffuser from the dealer -- these items should be painted/installed by mid-october.

My next purchase to complement the new exterior items will be a wheel and tire package. I attempted to purchase the air-suspension after the fact but the dealer will not install it saying it's not available for the A6 (audiusa website states you can order the air suspension when purchasing the vehicle online).

I found this website http://www.lakeshorewheelandtire.com/audi/audi-a6.shtml which has audi replica wheels. I would like to get the RS6 wheels possibly either 19x9 or 19x8. Has anyone put 19in wheels on their base 2005+ 4.2 A6? Per audi cusomer service the s-line wheels and tires are recomended for the base 4.2. I want to avoid rolling the fenders if at all possible. Also, what are the recommended tire sizes (245 35-19 or 255 35-19). Thanks for any help.

Default If you're looking for comfort, don't go with 19s. 18s or 17s will be better

Default actually, you can have comfort with 19s provided you do change the suspension...

I have a friend with 19 Superleggeras on a 2003 BMW 325 wagon while riding on Bilstein PSS9s. You have the option of softening the ride to stock-like comfort with the more aggressive look of a lowered car.

NOTE: If you get to their homepage, you have to click on "Mustang Wheels and Tires" to get the side-bar on the left where you can then click on "Audi Wheels".
Weird web-page bug...........
