New wheels/tires for my 2.7T. Loving them so far. Feedback on lowering?

Absolutely quiet ride, and stiffened up the handling real nicely. I'd like to lower the suspension for ride and appearance, but live on a dirt road with a steep driveway - it would be a daily chin scraping. What about a 1/2" lowering or so? What do you all recommend? Thanks for any input.

looks higher; but, it might be the pic angle. What's you height front and rear? Don't go to low it's not worth scraping IMO.

of the ability to adjust the ride height. Even a 1/2" or 3/4" will improve not only the looks, but you'll feel it, too. Yeah, w/ dirt roads + steep driveways, 1" lowered is the absolute maximum I'd drop it.
Otherwise, maybe consider buying taller tires next time (i.e. 235/40s or 245/40s at the most) and don't lower the car. It'll protect those nice wheels better and fill in the gap w/o lowering.
Also, seriously consider H-Sport Sway Bars. About $375, not an expensive mod at all. Just had mine installed this past weekend and if I would've known it made such a vast improvement in cornering and virtually eliminating body lean, I would've had it done a long time ago.

I'd ideally like a uniform gap all around the tire. Front and rear gap is about 2", so 1/2 would work, and I think I'll clear the driveway.
And I can dial in heights with the coilovers - that's nice! Thanks for the advice!

At least it is on my 2001 w/ stock sport suspension and similar tires - 235/40/18. For me, this is a great balance between high, non-sport and low, 25.25" most run with c/o's.

If you are starting with the Audi sport suspension, you should be able to lower the car as little as you like.
