I have just purchased a great maintained 01 a6 quattro wagon and need a retractable beige cargo cover and the outside drivers side black door post cover. Does any one have these parts available?.
Also the car is equipted with gps navigation but cannot find out how it works or even if I should try. I do not see any navigation screens in the cockpit but the black box and the CD's are in the trunk and has power.
any information would be helpful.
Thanks

Bob,
I recently purchased an Avant and needed the cargo cover as well. Let me forewarn you that it was not an easy task! It seems like when people sell the cars, they forget to put the cargo cover back in, so there are probably hundreds of them sitting in garages around the country, but apparently little or no awareness that they have it nor understand the market for it.
Anyway, eBay proved to be a decent source, as did Craigslist. You can search CL nationwide using "the mash" on www.jaxed.com. Go to "choose category", then "vehicle parts" and try that. You can also try any of the myriad auto dismantlers out there; use Google to find them (there are dozens). One of the larger Audi specialists is Shokan. Expect to pay probably around $250-$300 for a decent used one, or if you have money to burn, I think Audi will sell you a new one for something like $600.
The dismantlers will also be your best source for the other part you mentioned needing. They part out wrecked cars all the time so you just need to find one that matches your interior color needs and so forth. Shouldn't be too hard. Start with Shokan on that one.
Regarding the nav; don't waste your time. It is "audio only"; i.e. no screen to guide your turns. If you really want to play with it, the controls are on the center console between the front seats. You can access the menu there to choose your destination, etc. Honestly, more of a detractor than a benefit. Get yourself a $100 Tom Tom if you really need nav support.
Good luck!

I just sold a cargo cover in the classified two days ago for $100. If you look they are easy to find here or the other two forums. I still have a cargo partition/dog net available....

I have a set of outer trim in good condition, some light scratches on the paint that could be buffed out, but overall they're very good.
You'll need the FCC ID and MHz from inside the fob to get the right one, search on ebay and match up the numbers. try to buy one that isn't cut if you can...if not you can transplant your existing key into the new fob. If you get an uncut blade the dealer can cut it for you, depending on the parts guy he'll probably charge you $20-25 to cut it.
On programming, some ebay sellers have instructions with the new fob but if not they can be found here on aw somewhere in the forum archive search. If you can't find that I have a set I can post.
