newbie question about A6 2.7 recommended tire pressures
'01 A6 2.7TQ with 225/45/17 Pirelli Winter 210's on each corner.
Door frame tire pressure sticker says:
unloaded: Front and rear at 38 PSI
loaded: Front at 44 and rear at 45 PSI
Sidewall on the tire says max psi of 44.
Local Audi dealership says run them at least at 38 PSI. That seems very high to me from numerous other cars I've owned (Acura, Infiniti, BMW).
Are people here running their tire pressures that high? I'd have thought you'd wear out the centre of the tire at those pressures, but, that's why I'm asking.

run your PSI according to the sidewall of the tires...
This is your max pressure.. start at that point a adjust by letting air out as needed untill it give you the ride and handling you want.
