Default No "power" left in power steering.

Hello all. In the last couple of months, I have noticed my steering has become heavy. After a nights rest, the steering feels normal initially, but after a couple of turns, feels like there is no power. I have had a relay changed under the dash at nearly the same time. Is there any relation? There are no noises associated with this; brake pedal feels the same. Any suggestions?

Oh yeah...1998 2.8 A6Q with 107k miles.

Default It could be your servotronic relay

The servotronic relay is a speed based power steering regulator; less power steering at speed, more at lower speeds.

What concerns me is the the time based issue that you're describing.

Honestly, if I were you, I'd just pull the relay all together, I have. I like the feeling of the heavier steering... more "road feel".
