no abs light at start up

no abs light at start up
On engine start up the abs light is not coming on. I searched the forum but i couldn't find anything pertaining to this. the check engine light is on and im getting codes for roughroad condition i guess meaning that the abs is out but there is no light for the abs coming on even at start up. anyone have any ideas what to check, a broken harness maybe?
