Default No oil.

I said that my car was giving off alot of smoke this morning and the oil was checked and there was no oil. So 2 quarts of oil was put in, but the car is still giving off huge amounts of awful smelly greyish smoke and the power is not there, also I hear a rattlish sound. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this or what is wrong? This seems really bad.

Default Whatever it is, it's not good.

Did the addition of 2 quarts bring your oil level to within the "full" range? If so, then at least you know you weren't completely dry. If not, you'd better keep adding more until your dipstick says you're full. (Don't overfill.)

I'd get the car in for service A.S.A.P. Regardless of the oil level in the crankcase, the smoke you describe is not a good sign. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

Default Mr. Zippygas-if you would, when responding to a message, please delete the "Subject" line from the

previous message and begin your response there. That way we can read your response (or at least part of it) without needing to open the message.

Thanks!
