Unfortunatly, Yes but I hope not!

When mine went I heard a loud pop....but your symptoms are the same. However I could hear my turbo's screaming, very loud....(but not in all cases). I had the same grey smoke, obviously a loss in power, oil was being consumed very quickly. It got bad very quickly from the first signs....I'd get it checked ASAP, don't drive it unless you have too! Good Luck.

Where are you located? Cold temps will cause breather hose to freeze and cause oil leaks and lots...

of smoke. Usually will correct itself once the car is in warm place overnight. Lots of previous posts on this problem. Do a search under breather hose.
