No start after temp drop last week - car parked up hill

No issues with car at all until this past Friday. The temp had dropped pretty low last week. The last time I started the car was early last week to move parking spots. On Friday, I tried to start the car and she tried to turn over but then dies. After that, is was just the started trying to crank her but no response. I just took the battery in to Autozone and it didn't hold a charge. Replaced the battery and still no start. I also want to mention that my car is parked on a 25 degree angle street. She is facing up hill. I changed the oil earlier this year about 5k miles ago, didn't have a chance to change it before it got cold. Just checked the oil and it was pretty thick and dark and a little low so I added a quart. Could the car facing up hill be causing the old thick oil to not circulate properly? Or even all drained into the pan so non is is the engine? Any advise is appreciated.

This statements is the key.
Get a good strong battery in place, and crank the car with the throttle wide open until it starts.

And I mean one continuous effort. Not crank for 5 seconds, stop, repeat.
Foot on floor, key in "start" postion and hold it there.
It's turing over really fast like no compression, right?

Will this drain the new battery if it doesn't turn over after 30 seconds? It's not trying turning over at all. I don't feel or hear anything other than the starter.

after that it sounded like it was about to but it never fully turned over. It sounded promising because of the starter spinning faster but no go. I kept on going for another 30 seconds until it felt like nothing was happening anymore and just back to the starter cranking. Not sure about the no compression thing though?

when I tried a few minutes ago, the engine turned over for a hot second and then cut back off. I kept the key turned the whole time and my foot on the gs. After the initial quick start, it kept on sounding like it was going to fully turn over but never did. Would it help to face the car down hill?

Does the:
1. starter spin? - if no, bad battery or bad starter or wiring
2. Starter engage the motor and make it turn over? - if no, bad solenoid
3. motor ever begin to catch? - if no, fuel or spark problem in the motor
You also asked abotu the oil. With the car on an angle it wont read accurately. The quart you poured in likely over filled it. To check oil a car must be level, and generally warm.
