North Dallas tint, stoneguard/x-pel recommendation?
My 2.7 will be here (I'm in Richardson) in a couple of weeks. Anyone have a recommendation for where to go for window tinting and stoneguard/x-pel or something similar? Thanks.

Cool, I just picked mine up at the Audi Store on Wednesday. The dealer had the windows done at Moon Shadow (972) 424- 0488. Did a pretty good job on the windows. The rear has a little distortion where the film goes over the defroster lines though.

I just got my A6 2.7T last month and had the windows done at Moonshadow in Plano. They did a great job. I had 25% on the Back and 30% on the sides. I would recomend 25% all around as the A6 has a ton of light filtration and my result was a little light for my taste. I ended up installing a manual rear sunshade and with that deployed it makes the side tinting look darker. Good luck. Feel free to e-mail me if you have other questions.<p>RSC

I strongly recommend Pro Tint on Preston Rd. With yellow pages coupon, the best metallized film is $i95 complete. The owner is a very nice young man who does the work HIMSELF! Plus, his wife works the front and she is a real pretty lass. Earmark does good but they are high priced. The only place I found that does X-Pel is SunMasters on Inwood Rd. I thought they were rather high, and didn't seem to have much experience. I think they quoted $375 for the front end. I ended up getting the headlight pieces from X-Pel thru their Web site, and they went on easy. They did take about three weeks to totally clear up, but now they look great. I decided against doing more because the installation looked to be difficult and I was worried about the "looks" when done over paint.

Pro Tint has a 1/2 page ad on page 912 Of the latest M thruZ Yellow pages. Sun Masters is on page p15- 1/6 page ad. If don't have the Yellow Pages- let me know.
