CLK a sweet car. Friend here hasCLK420? 430? It's the V8 with AMG package.Fast and nice, but 2 doors. Don't all CLK's have 2 doors? I agree hard to compare A6 4.2 and CLK 430 even 320 series. Resale factor is diffently in the MB's favor! Maybe the 4 door to 2 door is an issue. Mike I have a question? If you could only drive one car and one car only,between(A6 4.2,CLK430)as your car for the next 4 years, which would you choose? For work and play, everyday driving, taking other couples out? The whole nine yards. Just wondering.

I'm not sure about the 320, but my dealer's waiting time on a CLK430 Cab now is approx. 8-9 months. I believe he told me that the 320 may be slightly longer.
If you want the CLK320 Cab, I'd suggest calling your local dealer and getting on the list NOW. My guess is that by getting on now will assure you a car in December.
My car has been lowered, and I have installed 18 wheels, BTW.

Tough call...
To be used as an everyday driver, through snow, rain, carrying 4 people, packing luggage, etc., the CLK Cab obviously cannot cut it with the A6 4.2 due to its larger overall size and AWD capabilities. I still like my CLK430 Cab better, but it's an entirely different kind of car.
If I could only have one car to drive all the time, doing all the chores of carrying people, going on trips, etc., I'd sell both of my cars and buy a new M5.
