Hi, thought i'd do a separate post. My 99 Avant sensor numbers are low. I'm planning on replacing the fronts first. I've always gotten really good MPG and for the last 6 mos, it has gone down. Would this be a symptom of the O2 sensors?
Also, what about other brands of Sensor such as Walker or other? or should I stay with Bosch?

If O2 sensors are shot, you would typically get a check engine light. I've noticed a bit of loss on MPG because of the winter fuel mix, and I know a few folks that don't check their tire pressures often enough.
Anyway, if you have access to an AutoZone, they can do a free scan for you to see if there is anything up with the O2 sensors.

Yes, it could be a symptom of O2 sensors, or possibly other components of the ignition system. Clean your air filter and replace plugs first, then if still no CEL, your prob good. O2 sensors can be changed by yourself with the right tools also. Dealer parts are high, check online, I used Bosch O2s and with 20k on them, still no probs.
