Default OBDII scanner

I tried connecting an ELM 327 OBDII bluetooth interface to my 2004 a6 and it won't connect. Has anyone found a wireless OBDII interface that will work with the 2004 a6's?

do you mean a dongle that connects to your PC and VAG-COM? Or what?

Short answer, no. But i'm not even sure exactly what you are looking for.

Get a VAG-COM cable instead of ELM 327 to connect to you computer, plus you need the software if it does not come with.

I read somewhere that the Elm 327 does not work on the A6, I got mine from Amazon a couple months ago. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...00_i01_details

Yeah, I picked one up with the Torque tool for my phone...it's ok in a pinch, but you need VAGCOM.
