All--I am looking for an OEM analog phone transceiver for the Audi pre-wire kit. The mounting bracket would be nice too! I looked at the Stock Motorola bag or full-install phones and they have a RJ-45 on the side for the handset. The Audi phone appears to make everything go through the cable with the DB-25, correct? As far as I can see there is only a antenna and DB-25 connector in the drivers side fender (behind the toolkit).
Any help here would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Chris

very few carriers will support analog...if any....
There are lots install tips on how to install an aftermarket hands-free kit for your phone...and still allow you to mute the radio and have sound transmitted via the stereo speakers. See my sig for my interior mods, links etc.

Why I want it? I live in North Dakota and this is my wife's car who travels the state every week. The CDMA phones just dont cut it when off the interstates. She has one, but frequently is says "no service" and the analog she had as backup in the other vehicle would have service.
I guess the main reason I want it is because I can. More power is better.
Our carriers (Verizon and Cell One) will not activate it, but since I already have one AMPS on my plan now, I would sweet talk them into switching ESNs for that phone number.
Then my wife will have both the Audi phone and her CDMA.
