Anyone know what kind of warranty OEM tires come with? I just found a nail very close to the sidewall in one of my Dunlop SP Sport 9000's that have about 3k miles on them.

BTW...Discount Tire Direct WILL warranty all your tires against road hazards, even if you didn't buy them from DT. I've bought two SP9000 tires from them and paid the road hazard warranty for the other tires...I've received three tires under road hazard warranty!!

This won't help you for your existing tire but may save you on the others.

PS...just plug the hole and change it out for your spare. As long as you're not plugging a hole above the tread/sidewall decoupling line it's supposed to be workable. You probably should use the plugs that go in from the inside of the tire but they're hard to find.

is 6 years, first 2/32" covered in full, tread wear beyond that prorated. According to Tire Rack, road hazards covered for first 12 months or first 2/32". I did not know that!!!
