Default OEM wheels

Had 20" MOZ Dinner Roll 5 Chrome on my '01 A6 2.7t, had to use spacers (that werent hubcentric) and the ride felt like i was driving on speed bumps between 45-65 mph, in order to save my front end from falling off, I put the OEM 16" 5 spoke 'sport' wheels back on, not too impressed with the look, so have an offer now to buy a set of OEM RS4 wheels, lug pattern is correct, but unsure about the 45mm offset, does anyone know if the will fit, or were i can go to research the match? Thanks

Default Clarify - are 45mm offset corretc for 2.7t?

The 2.7t does take a -45mm offset. So if that is what the RS4 wheels are, they should fit w/r/t offset.

Another question is whether there is sufficient room for the wider (I'll assume) wheel.

Default Need more info about the wheel you are considering...

...when you say OEM RS4 wheels, are these:

-true RS4 from the B5 platform (18" 9-spoke)
-RS4-style wheels found on the C5 A6 S-line and B6 A4 Ultrasport (18" 9-spoke)
-RS4-style wheels found on the C5 A6 S-line and B5 A4 (17" 9-spoke)
-wheels found on the current version of the RS4 (19" twin 7-spoke)???

The wheels Im looking at are 17" twin 7-spoke. Here's whats posted for them:
Color: Hyper Black
Size 17" x 7.5"
Bolt Pattern: 5 x 112mm
Offset: +45mm
Bore: 57mm
Includes a set of blank center caps
Note: Will not fit 2005.5 + Audi A4 (B7 Platform)

Im sure the 17 x 7.5 will fit the wheel well as the 20 x 8's just squeeked by.

Default Re: Clarify - are 45mm offset corretc for 2.7t?

Thanks for clarifying my current offset at 45mm, now my concern is wether the way the spokes are placed will clear the brake calipers, read somewhere that you can shave some metal off the calipers, prob not a good idea tho right? Reminder: the 2.7T has the larger brakes.

Default Put on some shades then

Yeah, its not popular for a Euro car to have chrome, but lets not forget that this is midsize luxury car. Turns alot of heads, and is somewhat unique despite the thousands of g-rides out there with 20" chrome

Default Obviously I got tired of the smart remarks...

...and the fact that they didnt fit right, Audi's are so damn picky about what wheels you use, so here I am goin the other trendy route and getting the OEM RS4 wheels.
