I can't believe it. Finally I need something that I can use to tow a trailer and I've been waffling as of late. I've been toying with the idea of putting a hitch on the S6, but it gets complicated.
I just ran across a mint BMW X5 4.6is (which is rare enough), but it gets better mod freaks. It's outfitted, from a NW dealer, with a complete Stage 3 Dinan package! That's right baby, supercharged and close to 450hp! Whoa man I tell you.
If I like it when I go and look at it on Sat, the LM's will be up for sale baby! I'll trade the S6 in! I'm not going to bother taking the H&R coils off as it'd probably not be worth the money.
What do you guys think? Both are rare, but I need to tow a trailer and I hate to do that with the uber-wagon.

I don't tow with my supercharged non-Audi, but with almost all ft.lbs. of torque available by 2000 RPM, I'd think it would be great for the job.

heavy duty alternator and battery.
But primarily it's because you are loading more torque than normal through a tranny and the diffs that weren't designed for it, and then you are placing it under non-stop load with no respite because you're towing. If you have any hills to climb, the cooling system is going to get quite a workout.
