oil additives

do you recommend any or should i not use any at all?

Don't use any at all; just a good-quality motor oil is best.

I only run synthetic in turbo motors to help prevent turbo damage due to the coking of conventional oil at high temps.

I agree, only use synthetic instead of conventional + oil additive...

I used to go that route on my old 2.8 (standard oil + Prolong oil additive and gas treatment). Now, I just use Mobile 1 Synthetic and Redline Fuel Treatment. I prefer it that way better.

Just a good oil and change regularly. I like Kendall.
