Update from the installed <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/729343.phtml">Oil Cooler</a>.

No pics or fun charts, but will report that with outside temps showing well into the 100's highway driving kept the temps around 190-195.

While on track before in that kind of weather, the oil temps easily would have approached 275 after 6-8 laps. Other than the fact the motor became heat-soaked after 5 or 6 hard laps, the oil stayed well below 250. Morning sessions when it was a little cooler temps stayed pretty much pegged at 225.

Most telling sign was the fact that after 3 days at the track, 4 tanks of fuel and around 270 miles loaded up on the track, the oil stayed clear. In previous DE weekends the oil would have been amber brown. Very, very good!

Overall I would highly recommend installing this setup for those tracking their 2.7T's.

Did you get the pics yet? and don't throw the envelope away cause a greenback is in there.

The other spin-off is that it will have slightly reduced the load on the water cooling system also.
