Oil under Camshaft Sprocket Cap.

Oil under Camshaft Sprocket Cap.
Is it normal to see oil under the sprocket cap (the one that covers the bolt)? When I removed the caps there was a lot of oil leaking from there. BlauParts sent me replacement seals (small rubber rings) saying I will need them replaced. They never mentioned the actual camshaft seals.

Re: Pic? No idea what you mean? There are no caps on the sprocket.

Hopefully the pictuer will show up.
There is a camshaft toothed wheel (1 of 4) that has a center bolt. That bolt is covered by a cap, which has a seal (rubber ring). There were lo leaks prior removing them from the center of the toothed wheels. Those caps are secured with a spring like metal ring. When I removed them, all 4, the oil leaked like crazy.

Otherwise, please help me with posting the pictures.

Re: You need to upload the picture to your picture poster.
Yes. it's 3.0L AVK. To me it seems the oil leak looks like a normal thing. That's why t he caps have seals, to prevent leaking outside.
