I'm doing some... ahhh.. research, and I'd like to know if you are "modified" what your modifications are, and what your experiences have been with the modifications.
Please be as forthcoming as you can, I'm in the process of weighing my options. If you care not to post your responses, please e-mail them to me at the following address:

Thank you

No secrets here - especially since I'm out of warranty...
Engine/Exhaust/Powertrain:
Abt KO4 turbos w/Abt Software
Upgraded Diverter Valves (whatever part # the higher pressure Bosch's are..)
Custom-made 2 3/4" exhaust (cat-back)
UUC Short Shifter
AWE Drivetrain Stabilizer
Handling/Braking:
Stoptech Brakes
Koni Sport Struts
Eibach Pro-kit Springs
17x7.5 Mille Miglia Wheels
235/45/17 SO3 Pole Position Tires (Summer)
235/45/17 Pirelli Winter 210 Snowsport Tires (Winter)
Audio/Electronics:
Switchable 605 Relay (PS boost control)
Alpine F357 Amp (4x50w 150w)
a/d/s 345is component speakers (2 pair)
10" MTX subwoofer in removable enclosure
custom-made cell phone holster/charger in e-brake cupholder
Cost of Mods: $13,000 (or so)
Surprising 540's, M3/M5's, American psuedo-muscle, rice rockets, and normally aspirated 911's and Boxsters: Priceless...
If the high-tech economy had help up another year, I'd have the downpipes, larger exhaust, upgraded fuel/air delivery (RS4 airbox, intake, injectors, fuel rail, etc)...

605 relay mod - DEFINATELY do it. Best free mod in the world.
Chip - APR - worth every penny. It literally makes the car FAST...not just quick. Ultra responsive, much more fun to drive and I think it's safe w/ proper care.
SHort shift kit - GOTTA do this. The throw is soooo freaking long on this car it's sickening. Strat one is good, UUC is good. Just go it, For <$300...no brainer.
Suspension - if you want a firmer ride and less body roll...springs/shocks will help big time. Car is really big but helps it feel smaller.
BOV's - FUN. Little help between shifts, expensive, makes the car run rich. The noise is really cool, just fun. If you can deal with the noise then do it, if not, keep the forge.
Exhaust - customer exhaust for around $300. Makes the car louder, turbos spool up quicker and the car seemed to get BETTER mileage. HIGHLY recommended.
TINT - looks good but you got some going on there anyway.
I would also like to do the DTS, APR Snub mount and RS4 clutch to tighten up the car a bit.

Set of spare 4.2 Sport wheels in case of curb rash.
Valentine One hardwire.
A8 exhaust tips.

Added second rear fog light (came in handy this weekend).
Changed front fog bulbs to whiter-white ones.
Console LED light (red is not very illuminating).
All-weather mats, somewhere in a UPS truck.
Equalizer set on Symphony radio.

Messages about various mods (including lost of stuff I haven't tried)

Audi Sport springs (Eibach pro-kit)
Mille Miglia Action Sport wheels, 18x8"
Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 tires (235-40ZR-18)
Formula 1 premier tint
That's it for the A6. The list for my TT is considerably longer...;-)
