Default One thing i forgot to mention.

The last thing they were working on was a flange in between the motor and trans. Supposedly, it took them 2 days to get a rusted/frozen bolt out.

Default 1st: Stop smoking 2nd: Please disclose the fact that u smoked in your Audi, when u sell it.

Full disclosure: I'm a reformed smoker and can now smell smoke a mile away.
As for the other issues: you most definitely have a fight on your hands. Good luck w/that.

Default I'd suggest..

A transferable warranty, in writing, on the motor to include any diagnosis time if you encounter future problems. Also, get a full accounting of what was damaged and what will be replaced. Make sure anything with a serial number that is replaced is documented as this could be important at resale. (serial #'s don't match = bad)

As Just Me said below, get your timing belt, tensioners, accessory belt, water pump and cam seals done at the same time.

Default Also

Play nice but be firm. How you handle it could go a long ways towards what considerations you get.

Default if you write to AoA Customer Care (Fedex/UPS letter)

and tell them of the problem, they will probably add miles to your warranty.
