only need part number for A6 00' keyless remote?
Going to buy a used keyless remote for my 2000 A6 2.7T and when I called the dealer to confirm this would work he just gave me the part number to verify with.
The part number matches mine, but aren't there other ID's codes that need to match? Seems to easy.

Naa, if you got the right p/n for the module portion...it's just a matter of programming them.
Programming them is easy...almost too easy. :P
There is/are writeup(s) on programming the key FOB around here somewhere...just search the forums for "FOB programming" or something like that....good luck!
