Sumitomo SRIXON4 for $63 or Yokohama Avid V4 for &75

It should.

Both my A4 1.8T and my wife's Passat V6 have 225/50-16 and they're great. Beware that not all tires of a given nominal size are really the same actual size. Beyond that, I have no idea about the tires you're asking about except that every Yokohama tire I've ever driven tended to follow road irregularities a lot.
