Mine are really **** poor, especially when wet. Not sure why your experience has been the opposite.

Sorry ugys,I was alittle vague.I would like a pad that is good in the rain and has bite.Any ideas

Default My mechanic claims that he did but I can only take his word for it. I've gone about 30k miles

on these pads and the performance hasn't gotten any better or worse. I'll probably swap them for something else soon. I've heard good things about these from others as well which is why I'm puzzled.

Default The mintex, which many liked below, has little bite.

IN fact, that's one of the reasons I like it! Its progressive, but has less bite than stock. It is also not supposedly good for track use.

Sorry, no more direct experience except for OEM, which are pretty good IMO.

All I want to know is what pads most guys on this forum are using. Is that so wrong!

Default Usually mintex

Lowest dust of bunch I have used. Progressive. Tried Axxis/MetalMaster but I couldn't get from squeaking with daughter with light foot driving., Yes, properly bedded, and new rotors. Even tried the spray on adhesive anti-squeak. Less dust than OEM but more than Mintex. Abandoned them and went back to Mintex. 2000 4.2 with HP2's.
