Default Opinions needed - do you guys recommend clear bra for the hood?

Even tho mine is 2 years old, the front is in mint condition. Would like to keep it that way. Should I consider the bumper too, or only the hood? What about prices? Don't like the black bra for obvious reasons.

Thanks.

Yes. On my old 90 (black), bumper looked like it was sandblasted after a year of commuting -- 59 miles one way all highway in midwest. On my A6 (black), bumper still looks good after a 1.5yrs of the same commute. May not show up as bad on a silver car.

Default I recommend the bumper more than the hood. It seems to take the worst of it. I also think that

the hood and mirrors should follow. It can always be removed if you don't like it. I never used one of the original bras; as, I felt the coild damage the paint and frankly they're ugly. Stonegaurd, Clearbra what ever you want to call it is hardly noticeable and works from my experience and what others say.

Default Don't forget to put some across the top of the rear bumper...

don't want to scratch it puting things in and taking things out of the trunk.

Default They have a film for the headlights. I believe it's much thicker. Availible from many aftermarket

autocare vendors. If dealer is willing to install or has put their stamp of aproval on a vendor, that is always preferable to me. As long as the cost is not bump up too high because of their endorsement.

I agree. I only did the bumper and didn't want the hood.

also consider the A pillars, mirrors, and the leading edge of the roof where it meets the windshield
