Other than the S6, did Audi make an Avant with the 4,2?

I did say that there was a C5 A6 4.2 avant overseas (Africa, Europe, Asia,...
Australia and New Zealand). But if I am not mistaken Egil, you live in the US. In all of North and South America, the only versions of the C5 A6 avant were sold were the 2.8/3.0 and S6. FWIW, I, too, like V8s, especially on the A6, E Class and others cars whose six cylinder engines are a V6 rather than a vastly superior inline six.
