Default Pardon if a repeat

Is the redesigned A6/S6/RS6 going to have an aluminum space frame with aluminum intensive overall construction? Motor trend and several members of AudiWorld on this forum (A6/S6) say yes and I would say most likely (almost definitely) are correct, but I don't know for sure. I would sure hope so because it would reduce the curb weight of all A6s, S6 and RS6 sedans and avants by roughly 500 pounds with the increased standard feature content (800 pounds without). That would be 3,524 pounds for the A6 4.2 sedan, 3,270 for A6 3.? sedan with quattro AWD and 3016 pounds for front trak A6 3.? sedan (just a few examples). I know the aluminum space frame is developed by Audi in conjunction with ALCOA (aluminum corporation (or company) of America and it is very costly. However, according to Consumer Guide online (no not those CR idiots) Audi and ALCOA are trying to develop an updated aluminum space for the redesigned A8/S8/RS8 and A6/S6/RS6 that is less expensive to build and easier and less expensive to fix while maintaining or improving on the already excellent bulid quality of the aluminum space frame used on the current A8/S8.
