...looked for fuse in the dash end-cap panel. not listed there. Haven't looked under the dash yet. Anybody been through this already?
Have a VAG, but haven't checked diag yet either.

...finally got around to connecting VAG. Pretty cool! Was able to see the alert indicator toggle with shifting in and out of R.
While doing that with the engine not running, heard a very slight beeping. The system is actually working (moved a box close and far to change the cadence).
So, it's the "pc-spkr" or whatever powers it. Sounds like it's behind the right trunk panel. I think my neighbors might've thought I was a bit looney with my head stuck to the side of the trunk
Will dig into that when I get some of the stuff outta the trunk ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Could've actually found that without the VAG, but glad I did it anyway. I have some fault codes...

...but not sure it's recent. I remember the ParkAssist acting up a while back. So, it might be from that.
Sorry about the long message in response to my own darn thread. But was excited and knew you folks would appreciate that

...here is a picture of the area under the rear shelf when the shelf is removed. You can see the small parktronic speaker to the left side of the picture (passenger side). It is the black round thing that looks like a small hockey puck.
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/hliu55/sunshade/Rear_shelf_2.jpg">
Easy to replace the speaker, not easy to actually get to the speaker. Removal of the shelf requiers removal of the rear seats (because the outboard shoulder restraints pass through the shelf) and the bolts for the belts are under the rear seat. You also have to remove the C/D pillar trim. Not an easy task, but doable if you have the time and the tools.

I actually tried that before using it last night but was having connecting issues and didn't have time to resolve. Downloaded and installed this AM, NP.
Thanks, Andy.

...as it was really difficult to tell where the faint beep was coming from.
In that case, sounds like a definite CPO/Dealer issue. Might be a good time to have them address the sub recall at the same time, although I was thinking of ripping that out anyway.
Time to put the CPO warranty to the test.
Thanks much for the tip, BD. Potentially saves me some searching and some frustration.
