GLad to help...too bad Audi did not design an access hole for that speaker...
you can see the other access holes inthat rear shelf for the 3rd brake light, the sunshade control unit and motor, etc. But the area near that speaker is solid.
I know this because I had the same issue, and the VAG COM scan said intermittent short blah blah blah. As you can see in the picture I posted the black wire is sticking up a bit, and when I re-installed the rear shelf with the sunshade, that wire got pinched. I had to remove EVERYTHING to get the shelf out and repair that wire.
Major PITA!!! No shortcuts

Yeah, but they'll have to deal with it themselves...
...as it's coverd on the CPO warranty. Going in Monday morning. So, I'll get to drive the old 20v for a day
