Hi all,
Is there anything like RealOEM.com for Audi's?
I have a beamer project car and RealOEM has all the part number info and exploded boms for all configurations. You just type in the last 7 digits of your VIN and it correctly identifies what parts you have and it is easy to look through the exploded boms for identification. Have looked but can't find anything like this for Audi's and really hope there is something out there...

Yes, that would be a wonderful thing. Unfortunately, it does not exist.
I use one of the Audi dealers parts websites, but it is not a simple matter of plugging in a VIN and finding the part. You have to search down through a hierarchy of parts diagrams.

Think you missed the point. Let's say you have a problem with your Ford, Chevy, etc. You call a dealership and they can tell you what alternator (or other component) you have in the vehicle by running the VIN number. Now you can go to most after-market parts sources and stores and do the same thing. Can't do that with Audi. Only the dealerships can do that and they are sometimes sketchy on older models. Yes you can go to the site you mentioned and look for the part but you can't shorten the job by simply entering the VIN. I can look up parts on pretty much any vendor's site, just can't input the VIN to find them.

@Harleyguy yeah that's true but I'm impatient and would rather look it up myself... and I'm an introvert... lol.
I used to have a 1989 Honda Accord SE... and you know what? The service/parts guys would tell me that car never existed but it was truly that... just they didn't make many in '89. I got tired of telling them it is an actual model/year.
Thanks Yoda... same issue for me with VIN but I do like the site and it works for parts lookup so many thanks!
