If it's not in Stoney's FAQ...ask away.

Default I do agree with Singletrack. Most relevant items will of course get discussed here again and again,

...but, the truly lengthy, well thought-out tomes that are oft written here, are unlikely to be repeated by their authors in as full a detail; and, unless bookmarked by someone like Stoney, or placed in the Tech section, are lost to the archives and will only to be discovered through a diligent search.

Default Scroll. It's as good feature as Search.

What I find objectionable is that we would treat a newer visitor rudely for doing this. Would we do that to someone face-to-face? Life is only as enjoyable as we make it.

I enjoy a good scrap as much as the next guy, but you need two willing contenders.

Default More Noobie input . . .

I'm a noobie (sp preferred) too and from what I've read from veteran posts like "allroadguy", everything has already been asked and answered 50 plus times, "so use the search engine and don't bore him with such mundane bantor". However, with that being said, if everyone just used the search engine or the A6 FAQ (very, very helpful, fyi), then from what I've seen, this forum would be reduced to postings on net worth, pictures of cars buried in snow and good **** links. Ask away!

With that being said . . . How do I remove the brushed alum trim piece from the bottom of my Avant tailgate? Its got a big gash in it and I want to replace. Ciao.
