I have an automatic, though. I wish the brake pedal wasn't so much closer than the throttle. I have to lift my foot too much to get to the brake or I end up pushing on the edge of the brake pedal. I figure Audi did this after the 60 Minutes fiasco to reduce the chance of "pedal error." I'd like to know if anybody has figured out a mod for this. It would be easier to bring the throttle closer, but it's about where it should be. The brake pedal needs to move back.

On the same note...
I've caught my foot on the floor well air vent (located above and to the side of the accelerator pedal) on a couple of occasions when changing from the accelerator to the brake pedal on my 1 week old '01 2.7T. Maybe it's my clunky Rockports, but I didn't have this as an issue on my '98 A6 2.8Q that I just turned in. Could be potentially very dangerous. Having the dealer look at it on Saturday. Anyone else notice this.
