PES G2 Supercharger on a 1999 A6 Avant

Anyone put a PES G2 Supercharger on a 1999 A6 avant? Was it worth it? Any problems? Getting a 1999 A6 avant w/ 20K miles really cheap and would like to increase the HP.

Not sure about an Avant. Never heard anything but good about G2 mod.

I would love to install that on my 99 Avant, but I have 92K and I think thats a little high to start adding additional stress to the engine.

I don't have an Avant but I've had my G2 Supercharger for the last 38,000km and...

...I've never run into any problems. I have heard of people having minor problems with premature detonation when running lower octane fuel.

I don't think it'd be additional stress, there's probably more stress... (more)

...on the 2.7T engine than a supercharged 2.8 30V engine. I think the boost pressure isn't that high. Obviously PES could've raised the boost pressure to create more horsepower and torque but I think they wanted to make a more reliable means of adding power without sacrificing drivability.
